What We Believe
The Inspiration of the Bible
We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired and infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe God gave the words of Scripture by inspiration without error in the original autographs. Furthermore, we believe in the preservation of the words of Scripture (Matthew 24:35), through the traditional Hebrew and Received (TR) Greek manuscripts, and accept the King James Bible as the divinely preserved Word of God in the English language.
The Person of God
We believe that God is the creator of all things, in six literal 24-hour days.
The Person of Jesus Christ
We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, His Deity, and sinless life, His vicarious death, along with His bodily resurrection and ascension, and in His personal, premillennial return.
The Person of the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the executive of the Godhead. We believe that He executes the Plan of God for our conviction and salvation. Christians are partakers of the Holy Spirit and empowered for service by Him.
The Fall of Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin and death. Hence, every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgment.
Salvation
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. We believe in the salvation of man by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross. We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, neither merited nor secured in part nor in whole by any virtue or work of man, but received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Security of the Believer
We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ. As a result, we have assurance and believe that the true believer is forever secure as a redeemed possession of God.
Doctrine of the Church
We believe that the visible church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing New Testament principles, believing its doctrines, observing its ordinances, and exercising its autonomy.
Doctrine of Heaven and Hell
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost: those that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life in heaven, and those that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation in a literal lake of fire.
Current Trends
We take our stand against the current trends that lead to discrediting the Bible and undermining the fundamentals of the faith. We take a separatist stand against the use of modern/worldly music, Neo-orthodoxy, Neo-evangelicalism, the Ecumenical movement, and the modern tongues movement.
God’s Plan of Salvation
"Every person is a sinner and in need of salvation from sin that can only be given by Jesus Christ."
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (KJV)
We must all realize that we are sinners.
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV)
Sin entered into the world through Adam (the first man) and all men since then are sinners.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (KJV)
Because we are sinners we deserve eternal death, but because Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried in a grave and rose in three days having power over death, we can be saved. It is His free gift to us because of His love for us. There is no other way to salvation. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)
If we believe in our heart that God has raised Christ from the dead, and we are willing to confess Him with our mouth, then He will save us from what we deserve and give us His reward, that is salvation and eternal life with Him in Heaven. Rom 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJV)
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV)
Surely, you realize you are a sinner. Right now, wherever you are, repenting, lift your heart to God in prayer.
In Luke 18:13, a sinner prayed: "God be merciful to me a sinner." Just pray:
Oh, LORD, I know I am a sinner.
I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross.
I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me.
I now receive Him as my Savior.
I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins,
the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen
Just take God at His word and claim His salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no lodge, no good works can save you. Remember, God does the saving. All of it!
God's simple plan of salvation is: You are a sinner. Therefore, unless you believe on Jesus Who died in your place, you will spend eternity in Hell. If you believe on Him as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith.
You say, "Surely, it cannot be that simple." Yes, that simple! It is scriptural. It is God's plan. My friend, believe on Jesus and receive Him as your Savior today. If His plan is not perfectly clear, read this page over until you understand it. Your soul is worth more than the entire world! "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36).
Be sure you are saved. If you lose your soul, you miss Heaven and lose all. Please! Let God save you this very moment.
God's power will save you, keep you saved, and enable you to live a victorious Christian life. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Do not trust your feelings. They change.
Stand on God's promises. They never change.
After you are saved, there are three things to practice daily for spiritual growth:
1. Pray - you talk to God.
2. Read your Bible - God talks to you.
3. Witness - you talk for God.
You should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation, and then unite with a Bible-believing church without delay. "Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord..." (2 Timothy 1:8).
"Whosoever therefore shall confess [testify of] Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in Heaven" (Matthew 10:32).
